Field Trips
PreK-2 bubbles experimentChicago-area schools, girl scouts, pre-schools, and home daycare facilities are often seeking places to visit, that allow children to learn while having fun. Kids Science Labs teaches hands-on science classes in creative design, problem-solving, and of course science, for kids that are toddlers to pre-teens.
Our fun field trips involve 60-75 minutes of hands-on science, where students actually learn a topic that is matched to Illinois Science Standards. We also offer additional science demonstrations upon request to groups.
Field Trips are $12-15/student, depending on group size. Our minimum group size is 8 and maximum is 50. We provide the science curriculum, teacher, and hands-on experiements for the students. Schools and organizations must bring enough staff to help us maintain our 8:1 student to teacher ratio for large groups.
Discovering ViscosityWe teach several new science classes every week (see sample class descriptions) We also can arrange for some special science classes that relate to your school lesson plans, if given enough advance notice. Larger or smaller sized student groups may also be arranged, based on availability and pricing.
