Science In The City: A Paradise for Builders
(Weeks of 6/10, 7/8, 8/5)

Science is everywhere in this builder’s paradise camp, where we enable kids to smash and rebuild stronger towers and innovate unique gem stoned bridges & roads.  Together we will create cities that solve real issues including solar power, water filtration, and transportation, all to help us make the ideal city for our future. Each day kids will have fun figuring out the science that makes our cities work and create designs for the future.

Adventures in Space: Living on Mars
(
Weeks of 6/17, & 7/15, & 8/12 )

Whether it’s traveling the galaxy at hyper speed or hanging out in the nearest solar system, kids love going on an adventure. In this camp, designed for the courageous explorer in every kid, we discover the incredible science behind basic rocket propulsion systems, design space equipment to help us survive in a harsh environment, and learn how to terraform planets off-Earth, to live just about anywhere.

Mixing Madness- Chemistry for Kids.jpg

Cool Chemistry: The Elements of Fun
(
Weeks of 6/24, & 7/22, & 8/19)

Whether it’s a simple mixture of two ingredients, or an all-out new potion, kids love mixing things to see what happens. In this mixing camp for young chemists, our scientists will explore some of the basic chemistry of everyday things like making soap, glowing apple chalk and even our favorite spices.  Expect your young scientist to explore the elements of the Periodic Table, discover the science behind acid and bases, and explore physical and chemical reactions as we learn some core science principles.

How Stuff Works: Inside the Olympics
(Weeks of 7/1, 7/29, & 8/26)

Kids are curious and rather than just watch the Olympics, this camp goes all-in to understand the world of sports, medicine, and the cool tech used by our best athletes.  In this camp of applied science for curious kids, our scientists will investigate sports medicine that keeps the human body at peak performance, discover the basic science in our sports equipment, and even dive into operational and industrial engineering to design their very own modern Olympic Stadium.  This can include why running tracks are designed with elasticity, how swimmers seem to cruise through the water in tech suits, and how gymnasts sore through a triple flip..

Middle and High School Students (7th-10th grade) are eligible for our Next Generation Experience at Kids Science Labs - Training to be Science Camp Counselors with our Staff for 4-8 weeks
